Street gourmet

This work explores pleasure without restraint—the moment when desire takes over and moderation disappears. Raw, glistening oysters confront golden, excessive French fries, creating a tension between the refined and the ordinary, ritual and impulse.

The paint is thick and tactile, almost edible. Each gesture reinforces a sense of abundance and repetition, suggesting an appetite that does not seek satisfaction but extension. This is not simply a depiction of food, but a meditation on excess, the body, and desire—that fragile threshold where pleasure becomes too much, and therefore irresistible.

A contemporary still life that reflects on consumption and human vulnerability, where excess is not concealed, but embraced.
